AMANITA PANTHERINA
Amanita pantherina, or the panther cap, ranks among the most distinctive members of the Amanita genus: a deep brown cap, pure white warts and a characteristically ringed stem base. At WildAmanita, we hand-pick every specimen in the clean, sparsely populated forests of the Baltic region, and then we dry each cap slowly at low temperature. Because low heat treats the tissue far more gently than fast, hot drying, the caps hold their natural colour, structure and compound profile. We also keep every batch pure – no blending, no fillers, just one species in each pack.
Our panther cap range covers four formats:
- Dried caps – A class from 30 g to 1 kg, plus Unopened MAX PREMIUM caps in 10 g and 30 g, which we pick before the veil opens.
- Capsules – 0.4 g of milled cap material each, in 20, 60, 300 and 500 counts, as well as a 70/30 muscaria blend.
- Powder – the same milled material in loose 50 g form.
- Liquid preparations – ferment 50 ml and glycerine.
In addition, our ToTryKit brings together 20 capsules each of Amanita muscaria, Amanita regalis and Amanita pantherina, so collectors can compare all three species side by side.
Amanita pantherina forms mycorrhizal partnerships with birch, beech and pine across Europe and Asia, and few Amanita species appear more often in mycological and ethnobotanical literature. We ship worldwide in discreet, sealed packaging. Before ordering, please check the legal status of Amanita species in your own country, since regulations differ from one market to another.
