WILD LIONS MANE

Lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus) grows as a cascade of soft white spines on standing hardwood, and its shaggy, coral-like shape makes it unmistakable in the forest. Cooks have long valued its dense, fibrous texture, and over the past decade it has become one of the most widely recognised mushrooms outside the classic edible species. We prepare ours in three formats, and each one starts from the same milled material.

Three formats

  • Capsules, 100 pcs — finely milled lion’s mane in a fixed, countable unit. See our full capsule range for other species.
  • Extract capsules, 60 pcs — a concentrated extract rather than whole milled mushroom, so the material occupies less volume per capsule.
  • Chaga and lion’s mane extract coffee, 1:13 — ground coffee blended with concentrated extract of both mushrooms. If you prefer the mushroom on its own, see our chaga range.

Whole mushroom or extract?

Milled capsules contain the mushroom exactly as it grew, with all its fibre. An extract concentrates the water-soluble fraction instead, and therefore delivers more material in a smaller volume. Both come from the same source, so the choice depends on which you prefer.

Storage and shipping

Keep capsules in their sealed container in a dry, cool place away from direct light, and store the coffee sealed to protect the aroma. We ship worldwide in sealed, moisture-protected packaging.

Not a medicinal product, and we make no health claims. Store out of reach of young children.
